Semen collection is an important step in evaluating male fertility and performing assisted reproductive procedures such as IUI, IVF, or ICSI.
At Ashalatha IVF Centre, semen collection is performed in a safe, private, and comfortable environment. Sterile and Specific Containers will be issued with proper counselling for the semen collection to ensure accurate test results and proper sample quality.
Purpose of Semen Collection
Semen samples are collected for several purposes, including:
- Semen analysis to evaluate sperm count, motility, and morphology
- Fertility evaluation for couples facing infertility
- Preparation for assisted reproductive treatments

Process
Semen samples are typically collected through masturbation in a private collection room provided at the clinic. The sample is then analyzed by laboratory specialists to evaluate sperm health.
